About South Wairarapa Tramping Club South Wairarapa Tramping Club
runs trips every weekend either somewhere in the Wairarapa or around the
Wellington area. Most of our trips
are day trips and are suitable for people of varying levels of fitness. Our trips are scheduled for a Saturday so
we have Sunday to fall back on in case of inclement weather. During the summer months
members frequently get together for longer trips to various parts of New
Zealand and some of the ladies like to get together to do one of the
commercial walks where our packs are transported each day. Our trips are advertised
in our monthly newsletter and also in the “What’s On” column in the Wairarapa
Times Age each Friday. And under

SWTC come to one of our monthly meetings (second Tuesday of the month) or
join us on a trip. We cater for all
age groups and levels of fitness. Our subscription is $30
for singles and $40 couples and families. |
