Meetings Meetings take place in the St John’s Hall, Main St, Greytown, at 7.30 pm on the second Tuesday of each month except January. The St John’s hall is at the north end of the shopping centre about opposite the supermarket and just south of the butcher. We have a bit of club business, mostly about recent and coming trips. This is followed by a talk, often with slides, usually about tramping, climbing or travel. Some people join the club just to hear the speakers and never come tramping. Others join just to get the newsletter. It takes all sorts….. Our meetings finish with a cup of tea and a biscuit for which we place a few coins in a saucer to help cover costs. Our February meeting is usually a barbecue at an interesting venue and we finish the year with a shared meal held at a member's home. Please note that the Feburary Bargeque 2008 will be held at Walls Whare Shelter 6.00 pm on 5 February note the second Tuesday of February.
